Sports Betting - Exotic Bets

Sportsbooks often post odds and accept wagers on a variety of other activities - just to keep life interesting.

For example, you may be able to place a bet on who will win the Presidential race or the Best Actor award at the Oscars. The oddsmaker sets the conditions and odds for these bets.

Many exotic bets are offered at 110 to 100 odds, but some will be offered at better or worse odds, depending on the bet.

The sportsbook and the oddsmaker

For Place sports bet, normally we go to a sportsbook -- a place that collect & accepts sports bets. Many sportsbooks can let us place the bet via telephone or through online. For your information sportsbook & oddsmaker it is totally different.. The sportsbook is just simply accepts sports bets from us & the oddsmaker is a person who sets the betting odds (can be explain as boss in our bet).
